3rd Renewable Energy India Expo 2009

TEAM ADVAY was recently shortlisted as one of the teams for the youth summit held during the 3rd renewable Energy expo INDIA 2009 held at pragati maidan on 10-12 august 2009. Youth Summit which integrates the Indian youth with renewable energy industries, was organized in collaboration with Indian Youth Climate Network (IYCN) where a total of 10 projects were shortlisted for the same across the nation. The team stood 4th at the Youth Entrepreneurial Green Awards 2009, judged by industry professionals, ministry officials and engineers from ACME ,SAE, MNRE, Garrad Hassan and other organization in these sectors . NSIT solar car 2008 was also exhibited at the EXPO gaining both media as well as public attention .The car was showcased along with the demonstration of the technology implemented.

South African Solar Challenge '08.

Our dedication and commitment towards our car make us realize our Dream with the success of our car as securing 3rd rank in the South African solar challenge '08. Our Mechanical System proved to be one of the best amongst car participating from countries such as JAPAN, GERMANY, and SOUTH AFRICA. The South African Solar Challenge (SASC) is a competition designed to drive and provide education in innovation and business. The challenge seeks a collaboration between scholars, students, private individuals and various industry and government partners, to work together to have a safe, technology rich event. WORLD SOLAR CHALLENGE, Australia.

Team ADVAY ready to go for the WORLD SOLAR CHALLENGE, Australia. The 2009 World Solar Challenge is the ultimate challenge in sustainable energy. The Challenge: Design and build a car capable of crossing the vast and imposing continent of Australia using only sunlight as fuel and to prove it, in the spirit of friendly competition against others with the same goal. Inspired by adventure and fuelled by the spirit of friendly competition, the event attracts teams from corporations, research and educational institutions around the world. The World Solar Challenge is managed by the multi award winning South Australian Motor Sport Board.
